Kentucky Couple's Shower: A Sweet Affair

Last weekend Mr. Ice Cream Sundae’s mom came out to visit. We had such a wonderful time with her and were sad to see her go. Thankfully, we were able to get some wedding planning in while she was here, though! She is very thoughtfully throwing us a couple’s shower back in Mr. Sundae’s hometown of Louisville, Kentucky.

We immediately got on Pinterest and started pinning away. We found the most adorable invitations, and I volunteered to attempt to recreate them. Here’s what the original pin looked like:

Although the invitations took me a bit to make, I think they turned out super cute! I was so happy with the end result. I already had twine and access to a printer, and only had to pay for card stock. In sum, I believe it cost me about $4.50 to make all of these invitations (with materials left over). Not too shabby!

Mr. Ice Cream Sundae’s mom is getting started on the favors, and I’m so excited to see the end result for these as well. When she sent me her idea for them, I jumped for joy. I LOVE s’mores!
I think the game came out super cute as well. Can’t wait for the day of the shower!
